Billing & Usage is where you manage your plan and see what you're using. It shows your current tier, your scan and usage credits, and your subscription — so there are no surprises at renewal.
What you'll see
- Plan — your current tier and what it includes.
- Usage — scan ingestion and other metered usage against your plan's limits.
- Billable projects — the project count your plan is priced on, with the micro, small, and standard breakdown.
- Subscription — manage payment, upgrade, or change billing cadence.
Metered add-ons and what they cost
Your per-project price covers governance. A few resources are metered on top, and each only bills beyond its included allowance when overages are enabled:
- Scan credits — one per ingested scan. Local-only scans that are never pushed don't consume a credit.
- MCP tokens — consumed when AI agents query your estate through the Vibgrate MCP server. Metered at $3 per million beyond your plan's allowance.
- VM minutes — cloud compute for scheduled scans, remediation projects, and workflows, billed at $0.02 per minute over your allowance.
- Remediation tokens — LLM tokens the coding model uses when a remediation agent (Business plan and up) runs on Vibgrate's hosted platform key. Metered at $15 per million (premium frontier models meter at 2×). There's no bundled allowance, so platform-key tokens meter from the first token. Run a local open-weight model on the Vibgrate AMI, or use your own provider key (BYOK), and those tokens are unmetered — tracked for transparency but never charged.
How to use it
Check usage here before you hit a limit. If you're approaching a cap, you'll see it on this page in time to upgrade. Annual billing is priced at ten times the monthly rate — two months free — if you'd rather pay once a year. Toggle Metered overage off to be gated at your included allowance instead of being billed beyond it.
Good to know
The Ask Vibgrate (Pulse) chatbot inside the dashboard doesn't consume your usage credits — ask it as much as you like. Usage limits apply to scans and external MCP access, not to in-dashboard chat.
